As someone who has lived with CHD firsthand, Delkia brings both personal insight and professional expertise to the organization's mission. With multiple years of experience in the healthcare industry, Delkia has held roles in clinical practice, healthcare management, and patient advocacy, where she has consistently worked to bridge gaps in care for underserved populations.
Having faced the challenges of congenital heart disease throughout their own life, she has a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and financial hardships that families experience. This personal journey is the driving force behind her dedication to improving resources, education, and support for the CHD community. Under her leadership, WONheart has grown into a trusted partner for families, offering a range of services including patient navigation, financial assistance, educational outreach, and emotional support.
Delkia's vision for WONheart is grounded in compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to advancing awareness of congenital heart disease. Her unique blend of lived experience and professional healthcare expertise allows her to be an influential advocate for families facing the challenges of CHD, with the goal of making a meaningful impact on their quality of life and access to care.
Kenya Barnes
Kenya serves as the Secretary for WONheart, where she plays a key role in maintaining the organization's smooth operations and ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently. With a passion for community and empowerment, Kenya is dedicated to supporting the mission of the organization and helping to strengthen its impact in the community.
In this role she is responsible for managing meeting records, overseeing communication between staff and board members, and assisting with organizational planning. Kenya has shown that her attention to detail and commitment to upholding the nonprofit's values make her an invaluable part of the team.
Prior to WONheart, Kenya has spent her years in her profession in multiple arenas of customer service, project management and healthcare, so she brings with her an intimate understanding and desire for the advocating of community building and effectiveness.

Daniel Fuller
With over a decade of experience in the pricing and financial arena, Daniel serves as the CFO with WONheart. In this role, Daniel ensures that WONheart shall remain integral and compliant with all finances as he oversees financial strategies and provides financial provision for our various programs and activities.
Additionally, Daniel has held many roles related to financing and pricing which has allotted him an appreciation for the management and oversight of the financial task and responsibilities he holds.
